The 73. Norwegian Library Conference is organized by the Norwegian Library Association and BIBSYS

EXHIBITION

The Norwegian Library Association (NLA) and BIBSYS have the pleasure to once again invite to Norway’s largest library conference.

In 2008 and 2010 almost 800 participants attended the conference, which is the most significant arena for librarians and Norwegian library executives. The conference is focusing on professional and political library issues.

Our aim is to ensure that the exhibition gives the participants a comprehensive and best possible impression of companies and organisations that are offering products and services for libraries. Thus, we will make sure to do our utmost for the benefit of the exhibitors.

MAIN ARENA
Stavanger is Norway's fourth largest city and the capital of South-western Norway. The city is almost 900 years old. The conference will take place in Stavanger Forum, one of Norway's few conference and exhibition centres. The Rica Forum Hotel is part of the same complex as the conference centre.

VITAL INFORMATION

  • The exhibition takes place in Stavanger Forum, they have organized and hosted a number of national and international events.
  • The exhibition opens on Wednesday March 21st and ends on Friday 23rd.
  • Opening hours: Wednesday: 1300pm – 5pm, Thursday: 830am – 5pm, Friday: 830am - 1330pm
  • Thursday and Friday there will be a substantial break in the programme, making it possible for the participants to visit the exhibition. The exhibitors can therefore invite customers to their stand without getting in conflict with the rest of the programme
  • Breaks in general will last for 20 minutes
  • Official opening of the exhibition (includes serving of wine) will take place on Wednesday
  • Coffee/tea will be served all day long in the exhibition area
  • The exhibitors will have the opportunity to have lunch before the official lunch for participants.
  • A separate information booklet of exhibitors will be put in the participant folders

Rooms at Rica Forum Hotel are reserved for exhibitors. We will therefore appreciate that you respect our registration deadline.
